LCSR Halloween 2007 Social
Invitiation
LCSR is starting a new tradition this year... Let's start it off right! Join your fellow students at the LCSR Halloween Social next week for food, friends, and fun. Here's what you need to know:
Event: LCSR Halloween Social
Date: Wednesday, October 31, 2007
Time: 5:00pm - 7:00pm
Place: LCSR Robotorium
Activities will include pizza-eating, watching classic scary movie clips, trick-or-treating at the lab pods, and of course, eating lots of candy.
AND....
A door-decorating contest, to be judged by our very own LCSR faculty!
Rules for the door-decorating contest are as follows:
- Every lab will be reimbursed for up to $40 for decorations.
- If you decorate the inside of the pod as well, it must be open during judging to be considered.
- Labs may team up to decorate one lab pod, but the team is still limited to the $40 budget.
- Decorating should be complete by Wednesday at noon.
- By Friday afternoon, please notify Amy Blank whether your lab plans to participate in the contest.
- Winners will be announced at the social - prizes TBD.
Details regarding reimbursement:
- Make sure to use the Maryland tax exempt card. Tax cannot be reimbursed!
- Turn in receipts to Jamie, Elisa, or Luwanna.
- UPDATE 10/30/07: The system for reimbursements is not quite in place yet. Please keep your receipts for now, and you will be notified when you can turn them in.
